Cave World

Description: Cave World was inspired by the work of the very first artists. Little is known about these artists, except that cave drawings were done during the Upper Paleolithic Period (40,000 to 10,000 BC). Stone Age people did not live in caves and it is suspected, since cave art would have been very expensive to produce, that these drawings were created by the very best artists in galleries or studios that were meant to last and had historical relevance for early civilization. This rendering of a primitive theme is meant to make the viewer step back and contemplate history.
This painting was created using rich red-orange-yellow-brown earth tones.

Size: ¾", 36 x 24 gallery wrapped canvas, painted black on all four sides making it ready to hang as is, display on easel, or custom frame if you choose.
