It was inspired by the Canadian artist Jean-Paul Riopelle, an abstract expressionist, who was a master with the palette knife and finding balance between chaos and order. It takes effort to create order out of chaos, to order our lives and in this case to find order when it was much easier to allow the hand free reign to create Chaos. Rendered using a palette knife and gobs of acrylic, brightly coloured paint.
